A true Candian mystery gets explored in Persephone's first original creation.
Jerome of Sandy Cove is based on the life of Nova Scotia's mystery man, Jerome. In 1863, a man was found near dead on the beach of Sandy Cove. He was missing both his legs from above the knee and could not...or would not communicate who he was. To this day we know nothing of his past. Even his name is a moniker given to him from a sound he uttered closely resembling the name of Jerome. Moore's script acts as a springboard from which the cast will collaborate, with original songs written and performed by Sarah Segal-Lazar, exploring who this man was before being reborn on the shores on Sandy Cove.
