Happy New Year friends of Persephone!
On behalf of Persephone Productions I would like to give a big thank you to all
who donated so generously to the company over the last year. I cannot stress enough
how helpful your generosity is to the company and our emerging artists. I hope you
will continue to participate in the growing success of Persephone.
10 years already?
2010 marks a very important year for Persephone. It is the tenth year of operation!
To celebrate this remarkable achievement a special fund raising Gala is now being planned.
The performance will feature myself onstage with some of our alumni: Rebecca
Croll (Emilia in Othello - 2008) who is last year's recipient of the Elsa Bolam
Award, Christopher Moore (Iago in Othello - 2008), Aaron Turner
(Hart in Unity (1918) - 2007 and Melchior in Spring Awakening - 2006),
with well known pianist Ian Smith at the piano.
We will perform extracts from many of the past productions and give you a sample of what is to come!
This will be a splendid evening, appealing to all those that have been with us from the
beginning, those who have recently joined our loyal public, and any new audience
members curious to discover Persephone Productions for the very first time.
