Montreal's theatre critics have nominated Persephone in various categories. AWARDS The Elsa Bolam Award for the most promising newcomer (2009) was given to Rebecca Croll in recognition of her work with Persephone and in particular her interpretation of Emilia in the company's recent production of Othello. The Myron Galloway Award for Distinction (2007) was awarded in recognition of Gabrielle Soskin as a Director, Actor, Producer and Teacher for her contribution to the standard of excellence in the Montreal theatre scene.
